An evidence-based clinical decision support (CDS) algorithm to facilitate the use of CT pulmonary angiography (CTPA) and improve outcomes of patients evaluated in the emergency department (ED) for suspected PE.
Initially, only the Wells Criteria was supposed to be used to generate recommendations. But after a detailed study of the issue, the Perc Rules and Geneva score were also used for the decision.
The color scheme has also changed, according to Harvard Library of Evidence UI.
